Description

The Call Centre Agent at Wits Health Consortium is responsible for telephonic data collection from households in the Gauteng Research Triangle. Key responsibilities include administering questionnaires, entering data, escalating issues, and routing calls. The 12-month contract is based at Wits School of Public Health.

Responsibilities

  • Administer questionnaires telephonically and enter information into the relevant database
  • Ensure daily telephonic data collection targets are met
  • Identify and escalate priority issues
  • Route calls to the appropriate resource
  • Document all call information according to standard operating procedures
  • Participate in regular and ad hoc training and meetings for data collection
  • Educate research participants on GRT-Inspired research activities
  • Conduct any other duties assigned by the line manager

Qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • Minimum 1-year experience as fieldworker or call center agent
